Good running trail, pretty scenic. Crowded as a zoo.

Gravel trail that hits wooded areas. Pretty busy, parking can be a booger.

First mile is flat gravel, then remainder is wooded trails with some pets along a creek. Popular route with mountain biking. Easy hike, but long.

Lots of wildlife. Intense rains the days prior made the trail a bit flooded

We walked the loop today and came across a small handful of pedestrians definitely a lot more cyclists. It was perfect and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Great trail. Well marked. Very crowded. Lots of bike riders that we had to look out for. Parking is free right now due to CoVID-19, so that's nice.

Great trail close to downtown Atlanta. 1st mile was crowded and more mountain bikers than I prefer but the remaining hike was fairly secluded. Overall a great hike. I would considerate it an “easy” hike. Rolling hills with flat well marked trails.

Hiking

Went to these trails for the first time last week. Since it was so hot, getting back on the actual hiking trails was the key to staying cool! There are plenty of hiking options, and we tracked over 7 miles by the time we were finished and circled back to the car. I would say the trails are easy to moderate. When you get back into some of the sections, there are some moderate hills, but nothing crazy. The hiking trails were not highly trafficked at all. We veered off (still on the trail), but to a more secluded area and encountered a HUGE Georgia brown snake, so be on the lookout! Ran into quite a few mountain bikers as we finished up the hike on the joint hiking/min bike trail. The only negative would be tons of fallen trees we encountered... sometimes impeding the route, and some were huge and hard to climb over.
