Getting There

This park features approximately two miles of gravel surface trails, a disc golf course, and scenic river views. Accessibility: There is a small gravel parking lot on Chattahoottchee Park Drive by the start of the trail. Users have reported that about half this trail is wheelchair or stroller friendly. The trail surface is gravel and typically at least six feet wide. The grade is mostly gentle (all estimated 5% or less) but heavy-duty or offroad tires may be needed for mobility equipment or strollers to navigate this trail due to the uneven, slippery surface.

Children's play area, 2 pavilions, canoe launch, water fountain, and toilets.

Pretty boring, tbh. No sights, excepting watching people play disc golf. 99.9% of it is flat, in a field, and parts are fenced off and rerouted because of trail damage that looks like happened a while ago. It is along the Chattahoochee for a good portion, but there’s so much brush between the river and the trail you can’t see it! Definitely not worth the half hour/15 mile drive for me, when for the same distance/time I could go elsewhere and have a lot more fun!

if you walk the entire trail make sure you go 3 hours prior to sunset because it will be a while before you get back to your vehicle

Very nice flat trail in a wide open area. Wasn’t very crowded which was nice. Couldn’t finish because it got dark and park closes at 7

Great! It’s hard to find unpaved trails more than 1 mi so this is welcome. Well maintained and more than 6’ throughout. Not much tree cover which was nice for a sunny feb day but there was a cold wind!

Decent trail. Not a hike but more of a walking trail. Located within a residential area so it felt safe being with my daughter alone. Not crowded. Friendly people. No dog park, but pet friendly. Decent bathrooms. Free parking. Gravel parking.

Half of it is not stroller friendly. Part of the trail was closed so it looks like they attempted to make a temporary trail but then it goes into a ditch so I had to turn around and make my own detour. It looks like it use to be paved and is now just compacted gravel.

This is a nice multi-surface trail, although extremely flat, for better or worse. there are some pretty views of the river if you wander off trail a bit. I probably wouldn't come here on a regular basis but once or twice is well worth it. There is also a frisbee golf course for those who enjoy that

Nice, flat trail with a couple of views of the river. A little muddy, and good for a jogging stroller but regular strollers may have trouble in some spots.

Trail itself is in great condition. Downed trees from Zeta have been moved off the main path. Some of the little spurs to the riverbank are blocked, and erosion is apparent.

Ok trail. Water over it in a couple of places necessitated a muddy detour. One and done.
