Absolutely not worth the walk. I brought my dog here because it's close to home, hoping to get some splash time in the falls. I could smell the weed before I even got to the falls. There was a group of like 10 ppl there, with half of them smoking. Ppl had children and dogs coming off the trail, wanting to access the water, but we were all pretty turned off by the smoking. Really disappointing pay off for the hike.

Some great trees...the cascades are beautiful...walkways repair & creek clean up would be GREAT places for service projects~as they are clearly needed. Nice vibe. Happy people & dogs everywhere. Some bouldering, and a few champion trees spread throughout the forest

WalkingGreat!

Nice clean park, even saw some neighborhood people cleaning up what little trash there was. Took my dog out there for a change of scenery on Labor Day. Not as busy as I thought it would be. Happy to have found it considering we forgot to bring our wallet so couldn’t pay for Sweetwater Creek Trail parking. Serendipitous.

Easy trail. Not alot of incline. A few fallen trees to traverse. Disappointed to see all the trash collected in the creek bed. But otherwise beautiful.

The trail was ok. However, it would be great if it had more signage for direction.

Poor signage, so definitely depended on the app to complete the loop without getting lost. Got confusing at times because the app didn’t reflect all of the side trails we encountered, making it difficult to decipher if we were going the right way. Nice scenery. Please don’t litter, people! Saw lots of trash, but we were still able to appreciate all of the beautiful scenery.

If you’re a starving Atlanta artist, bring your easel to Cascade Springs. You can’t beat the opportunity for modern commentary on a lady refilling her water bottle from the creek just downstream from someone bathing in a pool of blunt wrappers and Doritos bags. It’s your ticket to the HIGH museum. Speaking of which, I didn’t know it was possible for teenagers to hotbox an entire park until now.

We thought it was an okay trail. You might want to have the app handy to make sure you are going the right way as there aren’t any blazes telling you which way to go. On the bridges a couple of the boards aren’t there. Other than that it is a nice walk that won’t take you any longer than an hour

There was a lot of trash in and around the waterfall and along the trails. Good for a close hike away from the city. Trails were nicely shaded. Parking is minimal for a busy day.

There was so much litter on the trail that we made a pact to return with gloves, grabber and garbage bag. Otherwise, beautiful woods and well-made trail. Probably too far for us to return often. And what was the shrine offering on the rocks by the cascade?!?

This is an awesome trail! I've been several times all summer long and are eager to go back each and every time! My five year old goes with me (just to give you an idea of how easy it is.) I have brought my friends with me, and they all like it as well. I burn a lot of calories, and I love it! It's shaded well, so the sun will never be an issue for anyone using it. I have never ran in there, but just last Saturday , I saw a man and woman running with their dog, so I guess it can be done. For me though, I don't know where to run specifically without getting tripped up, so I'll just hike it or walk the trail for now.

Nice short hike! Was sad to see so much litter about but it’s a nice easy trail. If you’re doing the full outer loop as indicated in red, follow the Ridge Trail signs. Also, if you want photos by the waterfall, get here before 9am. Lots of photo shoots happening!

Fairly easy trail that splits and loops a couple of different ways. Part of it goes down by a stream. It wasn't busy first thing in the morning, but it was starting to get crowded by 10.30 am.

Easy trail for walking, but wouldn’t consider it a hike. Did not encounter anyone else on the trail, partially because it was raining. I wish AllTrails would update the map, there are a lot more trails here than on it.

Trail needs maintenance and people were loud. No one social distancing. Nice creek to rest and get your feet wet.

It’s an easy kid friendly hike. We usually walk to the creek and have a picnic afterwards.
