Easy trail for walking, but wouldn’t consider it a hike. Did not encounter anyone else on the trail, partially because it was raining. I wish AllTrails would update the map, there are a lot more trails here than on it.

Trail needs maintenance and people were loud. No one social distancing. Nice creek to rest and get your feet wet.

It’s an easy kid friendly hike. We usually walk to the creek and have a picnic afterwards.

I can't believe I've lived in East Point for 15 years and never knew these trails were here! It is easy to find with ample free parking. There's a couple of old ruins before you get to the waterfall. A major downside- we came on a Wednesday afternoon during quarantimes and there were quite a lot of people here. Entire families and groups of people had blankets and even hammocks out on the rocks in front of the waterfall so that nobody else could even get near it. Practically nobody was wearing a mask:(. However, once we got away from the waterfall and started hiking the trails we did not see many people at all. The trails were good, very woodsy and peaceful, but they are not marked well- lots of smaller trails going off, we started following one and it kind of just disappeared so we turned around and came back. And we also saw more litter than I've seen in other hiking areas. Despite all that we really enjoyed walking the trails, Lots of shade and there was some good elevation changes to get a nice little workout in the beauty of nature.

Nice easy hike that you don’t have to drive far to access. Though the trails aren’t super well marked, it’s still fairly easy to navigate. And none of the trails are so far that you can get really off track. The biggest downside for me was that it was pretty crowded last Saturday- so much so that we couldn’t even get close to the waterfall.

Too much trash in waterways and trail needs maintenance too much vegetation

Great trail close to the city. Still open as of first of April. Use all trails to find your way around all the twists and turn. Very few places with elevation so it's an easy trail. Only downside is it relatively unmarked. Some trails match the map at entrance but there are a half dozen spin-offs that link back to others.

we really enjoyed this trail. easy rolling walk. cool sites along the way. make sure to read history marker at beginning

Totally unexpected... great little trail in the city. Not challenging at all but great for trying to pick up the pace. Shockingly a lot to see on this trail... waterfall (slippery as hell if you decided to cross the stream!), great rock formations, the stream, and a cute little picnic area. Don't listen to the naysayers about the trail being poorly marked... the trail is obvious and marked with metal poles with yellow tops and signs at intersections... not your usual on tree blaze but is more than enough to get you through. This is definitely on our list to go back to during the week for a quick 2 miles stretch.

The area near the creek was crowded. The back side is not marked , which made our hike a tad more adventurous. As long as you Follow the trail it is easy . Pet and kid friendly .

Awesome little trail for the quick walk. Very safe and easy walk to the fountain. The wooded area has magnificant unmolested trees and the grounds are covered by ferns.

The first time my husband and I walked this trail, we were unimpressed. However, we may have just been in a bad mood because this trail is actually very unique. There's a waterfall, some cool boulders and a nice creek.

Good trail- no markers on the back half of the trail which was a little hard with fall/winter leaves down. Easy hike!

a very nice nature hike

Do not heed the negative comments. This is a beautiful and safe trail. An oasis in the city.

Love this trail! Leads to the Beltline on the Westside.

It’s easy to the waterfall. The rest of the trail is not. I’d say moderate and uphill. Very pretty and quiet.

Side trails not on map got pretty confusing, but GPS figured it out. Good for a short run or little family hike, but pretty small for a longer run. Cool things to see, but mainly wooded area. A little rocky here and there, and plenty of down trees on the trails, but just adds for a more fun obstacle course.

The trail is really small and so close to the roads, so you can always hear traffic noise. Other than that, it’s pretty decent for an evening hike
