There is a small network of trails through the wooded area of Briarwood Park just west of the pool and north of the new playground. These go through the woods and along the creek and are excellent short discovery nature trails for children.

So short. The trees and creek are pretty, so if you’re looking for a 15 minute “get it in” hike, do it. If you need more...don’t.

A small part of the trail is washed out, and it’s not clearly marked, or have much of a designated trail. It ended up in a pile of leaves in somebody’s backyard, and it was barely a quarter mile (nestled between the road, backyards and the community garden). Half of the trail is merely walking along the road by the park, so I wouldn’t really call this much of a trail. The trail does have some thrones in the “path” due to being over grown, beware. I would jot recommend this park at all, especially with the Kittiridge nature conservatory being so near by and 10x better!

Super short trail good for dog walking or a quick walk. You will have to lap it a few times to get a 1hr walk. There is a historic house and several large trees on site.

Not a hiking trail. Within 10 minutes you'll walk the entire park. The playground is the most exciting thing about this "trail," and that's only if you are or have kids.

It's a tiny quarter mile cut threw from a neighborhood to the pool... not exactly what I would consider a hiking trail.
