nice and easy on the blue trail, switched to orange trail made it to the small but pretty water fall. Blue super easy around lake, orange goes up the mountain side and a nice walk. We enjoyed it
Thanks to another reviewer who wrote: Start the lake trail to the left, and then pick up the white blaze trail on the left to run you right into the orange blaze. Turn right, and the waterfall is at the end. Lots of roots, but that equals beautiful tree cover with the occasional big tall beauty. We may have missed the waterfall if it were not for your review! The waterfall was lovely.
From the lake parking lot you don't get the entire distance unless you go up the other side of the James Edmonds trail. But the waterfall is worth the short easy hike.
Easy hike in from the lake parking lot. Start the lake trail to the left, and then pick up the white blaze trail on the left to run you right into the orange blaze. Turn right, and the waterfall is at the end. Lots of roots, but that equals beautiful tree cover with the occasional big tall beauty. Passing shower was barely felt.
Easy; mostly flat if start at lake parking lot. Add on walk around lake for an extra .85 mi.
Fun kid friendly hike for middle aged kids. Nice waterfall at the top.
The first part of this trail is on a fire road. So we parked at the lake and walked around it before heading to the falls. Much prettier
