HikingMuddy

Easy hike with the girls. Saw a few ducks which they named (Archibald, Ben, and Brittany Jr.). Unfortunately it was very overcast and could not enjoy the scenery outside of the lake itself. There was a lot of mud, but nothing too terrible. Followed the Orange blazes near the parking lot to the top of Greasy Creek.

Nice wooded trail with a couple of nice views. Typical development in a state park, but enjoyable hike.

Our new favorite place. Gravel rd to get to it is fine. You can park in the parking lot. The trail is flat and short so easy w kids but bring mud boots the back side of trail is wet/muddy. Perfect place to have a picnic. Bring crackers or bread to feed the ducks.

Beautiful easy walk around the lake. The far side was super muddy & had to make our own path around.

Very easy walk around a lake. There are picnic tables and grills right next to the parking spot. Dog and little kids friendly.

Short and sweet. It it what it is... a mostly flat loop around the lake. Kid friendly, pet friendly, plenty of benches to rest. A great spot for a little walk.

Went at 5:30pm and was cool and flat; fish, ducks. Pretty lake, I think it’s runoff though. Clockwise starts at a little stream and you can get your feet wet. Will try the hike for waterfall today or tomorrow

Super easy trail around a gorgeous lake surrounded by pristine Mountain View’s. VERY muddy in some places though! Went with a 10 year old kiddo and our doggo and we all enjoyed it very much! A few benches along the way too to take a rest or sit and enjoy the view. The drive down on a narrow gravel road was a little scary for me in a van but we made it down and back with no problems.

Nice relaxing walk with some great Mountain View’s over the lake. Definitely recommend if in the area, especially after a long steep hiking day.
