We started on the Cherohala Skyway and headed north, completing 6 miles in and heading back out. Plenty of parking and the trail is well maintained and well marked.

We hiked only a portion of the trail along south fork trail starting at Jacks River Field campground. Beautiful scenery, lots of small flood streams to hop across and a beautiful waterfall/swimming hole.

Beautiful trail. Locals are very friendly. Bring your dog here they will love the thick forest.
