We passed through the area on our way back to Florida and biked this trail last weekend! It’s beautiful with the rolling hills and curvy trails! A storm had come through a few days before and it looked like the trails had been cleared of debris and the trail was well maintained. At different trailheads there was heavier traffic on the trails but bikers and walkers were always careful and moved out of the way when possible. The hills are steep and you need to take care that you don’t hit any pedestrians with your speed from the hills. It’s a beautiful park with tons of trails! We can’t wait to come up and ride again!
very pretty walk on sidewalk through the forest. friendly people.
Verizon cellular service is intermittent up here. look out for snakes... that aside it's a nice walk with options to Branch off into the woods/quarry. stay mindful if you have a dog; the rock can burn his feet, even if it's not that hot to you outside. Beautiful scenery and friendly people.
The walk was ok. People were very friendly. I didn't realize the whole thing is paved, which was disappointing. But it's a nice break from high-traffic paths in Atlanta.
