It looks like it would be great… But the trail is closed off right now, there are plenty of other trails around…

this was literally for kayaks which I didn't know. other people said you can walk it, but I did not follow the right path for that. Steep and very narrow. Super dangerous to walk to the way I did. Can not get across the river, obviously, on foot so after all that I had to turn around and go back the way I came. Look at my map and don't take the way I did.

Varied points of interest along the way. Lost the trail after the second creek crossing. Fortunately I was rescued by a yellow lab. The owner showed me her trail blazes. Very helpful. I will be going back more than once.

Great trail except there are no blazes or markings to tell you where to go... the end is sooo pretty and peaceful!

If you get over the River dredging operation, it’s a nice hike. The falls are breathtaking. Amazing, right in my back yard!

The falls are cool, some strange trails getting out there-more like dirt road than trail

Easy trail for the most part. The bit through the sand mine was very short (it’s not construction). There was one steeper climb. Oh, and there is NOT a short cut back at the freeway bridge...

Falls were nice and very quiet on a sunny Friday afternoon. As many have said, the dredging area was a mess. Also had to do some scrambling to cross some water.

slippery when wet with one difficult creek crossing(go around the branch bridge). otherwise it's a lightly trafficked trail with a great falls at the end.

The beginning and ending of the trail to the waterfall was nice but the middle part made the trip just not worth it. There is a huge construction/dredging zone to walk through which included numerous semi trucks and work vehicles driving passed you, a dredging boat and a barge. With that came the noises, smells, and litter that really took away from the serenity of being on a nature trail.

Fun trail. It got a bit confusing as there are no trail markers and at one point in the trail it almost looks like you’re going off the trail, but it’s certainly the right way. The waterfall is VERY slippery. Please be careful. There are no warning signs of slippery rocks. But certainly worth the hike. Also, plenty of dogs, but not many on leashes. So please, leash your dogs. Some people have pups that are skiddish with other dogs!
