Very beautiful and relaxing. There were bathrooms among the trails and the view from the tower and the bridges put the icing on the cake.

Took my 4yo daughter. She loved it. We saw 2 rabbits her first time seeing One in the wild. Lots of puddles on the paved portion, our shoes and socks were soaked. Will return.

Easy, fun trail but be warned there is basically no shade on this trail so on a hot day you will really feel it.

Beautiful and super easy adventure walk. Well marked pathways with informative signs about the kind of birds and plants you may see on your walk. We even saw a couple of alligators from the observatory!

Only service dogs are allowed on the trail. Other than that, easy, well kept, convenient trail to see wildlife and get some fresh air.

This is a well-tended paved trail connecting to a gravel perimeter road about halfway the 3-mile trek.

After finishing the walk, my thought was that walking the gravel road is not particularly nice, unless you just want to walk in peace and quiet. It might be better to backtrack after you climb up the observation tower so you see more wildlife.

There are quite a few wetland birds, and I saw a pair of Osprey flying around the observation tower. You’ll hear a number of the birds calling out to each other as you walk the trail and boardwalks.

I prefer dirt trails over paved trails, so I would not consider this a hike, rather, it’s just an outdoor walk.Since there is no shade while you walk, this trail would only be enjoyable in the cooler months of Florida, not the hot, humid months.
