Hiked this on a cool winter day. No bugs, so that was wonderful. This is a relatively short and easy walk in the woods. For a longer hike, the Bulow Creek Trail can be accessed from the same parking lot as this trail. You can hike from here all the way to the Bulow Plantation and sugar mill ruins and back. This would be an all day hike.

I'm not sure how this map got listed for the Wahlin Trail but this isn't it. This is the trail that takes you to the Boardman Pond. The Wahlin Trail is located about 2 miles south of this, right next to the Fairchild Oak Trail off Old Dixie Highway, and is a 0.3 mile nature walk.

The trail head is in Fairchild Oak section of Bulow Park, next to the south trail head for Bulow Trail, very short, about .5 miles, flat, mostly under light canopy. Many benches and informative plaques. No blazes, arrows on posts. A good trail to introduce youngsters to hiking. Good picnic spot. Rest rooms but no potable water.
