Walking

We walked the bike/walk path. Very nice walk along the lake then thru the trees. Lots to see: children’s farm animals, frisbee golfers, lake views and big swimming pool.

This is a beautiful family park on Turkey Lake. There’s lots to do here. The 1.9 mile trail is great for walking and biking. It’s really well kept. Enjoy!

It was paved and okay. Not super well marked or difficult. Shade maybe 30% of the time. Had a good time still.

Running

This is my "local" jogging & cycling park. The nature trail is a great feature with a taste of backcountry hiking, decent shade & signage stations identifying wildlife. There's a 2-way bike trail loop around the park with splendid views of Turkey Lake. I frequent this park multiple times per month. The park has an eclectic and interesting mix of activities & features including a playground, a farm, a swimming pool, camping, nature trail, frisbee golf, fishing, volleyball, cycling & weekend regattas.

I would recommend this trail, even though there is a vehicle fee. Scenic views, nicely paved, and shaded. I would go again

The trail is hard to follow, but if you follow signs for the bike trail you'll mostly be on the right path. It's pretty, but short

kinda challenging to follow the trail, as it is not clearly marked. if you follow signs for the bike trail, or the nature trail, that helps. also using the app map helps

It's very relaxing walking around the park. I love to go as early as possible so I can see the sunrise thru the trees it's beautiful. There is a spot for camping, biking, dog walking, picnic and family barbecue and golf disks.

Genial para entrenamientos cortos, 4 kilómetros de arena, césped y asfalto, entre la naturaleza y el gran lago. 100% recomendado, quisiera ver más trail runners en los senderos

The park is right next to the highway which destroys the experience of a complete connection with the nature.

if you walked all the way around this park twice you might get 7 miles. The park is well marked if you are looking to sit at a pavilion or cook a hotdog. But it is horribly marked for hiking. just park in one of the parking lots and find the bike path. follow it to the front of the park where you will find the "nature path" that leads you beside senic highway 408 (that is sarcasm) take some earbuds this is not the kind of park where you will find peace and quite. it is essentially a family park surrounded by a hipster breedig ground (otherwise known as a frisby golf course). Good walk for novices, families and children not experience hikers looking to be in the woods.

The paved bike path is more or a running or walking trail. I went around the loop 3 times and it didn't take more than 25 minutes. Not great for biking. But, this place has some good disc golf. Two courses that I saw; I played one. So if you like disc golf then check it out and bring your bike for a quick ride after. Admission for car with just yourself in it is $2. $4 if you have passengers. Lots of pavilions for picnics/cookouts btw. And water fountains shoot cold water so thats plus. Happy trails!!!

First to Review

This is not really a hiking or trail running kind of place and I couldn't find a continuous nature path let alone 7 miles of it. There is however a paved bike path which might be that long as well as a complete frisbee golf course and a number of outdoor pavilions and water amenities.
