Turkey Lake Nature Trail is a 1.8 mile loop trail located near Orlando, Florida that features a lake and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for hiking, walking, and trail running and is accessible year-round.
if you walked all the way around this park twice you might get 7 miles. The park is well marked if you are looking to sit at a pavilion or cook a hotdog. But it is horribly marked for hiking. just park in one of the parking lots and find the bike path. follow it to the front of the park where you will find the "nature path" that leads you beside senic highway 408 (that is sarcasm) take some earbuds this is not the kind of park where you will find peace and quite. it is essentially a family park surrounded by a hipster breedig ground (otherwise known as a frisby golf course). Good walk for novices, families and children not experience hikers looking to be in the woods.
The paved bike path is more or a running or walking trail. I went around the loop 3 times and it didn't take more than 25 minutes. Not great for biking. But, this place has some good disc golf. Two courses that I saw; I played one. So if you like disc golf then check it out and bring your bike for a quick ride after. Admission for car with just yourself in it is $2. $4 if you have passengers. Lots of pavilions for picnics/cookouts btw. And water fountains shoot cold water so thats plus. Happy trails!!!
This is not really a hiking or trail running kind of place and I couldn't find a continuous nature path let alone 7 miles of it. There is however a paved bike path which might be that long as well as a complete frisbee golf course and a number of outdoor pavilions and water amenities.
