Taylor Creek Loop is a 2.2 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Okeechobee, Florida that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and nature trips and is accessible year-round.
This walk is easy and a great way to see plenty of local fauna, such as Gators, Herons, Egrets, Anhinga, and Turtles. Since the wildlife is very well integrated, users must note that dogs are not allowed on these trails.
This walk is amazing if you're looking for gators. There were so many UP CLOSE, particularly in one spot (quickest route to see them is to turn right at the fork). Some nice flora and herons, egrets, anhinga, and a turtle too. Was well worth the hour and 1/2 out drive to it for me. Follow my instagram for more adventures @julie_journeys
Nice trail for wildlife viewing. We saw lots of birds plus seventeen alligators sunning themselves by the sides of the path or across the creek. Fun to see but not for the feint of heart.
