Not actually a trails but a paved road. The short steep climb is commonly used for hill training on bicycles, hiking and running.
Great training spot! Best place in central Florida to get elevation training. Did this with my friend to prepare for some Rocky Mountain hiking. We did 12 summits. No shade anywhere. Great views from the top!
Note, this is a paved road, not an actual trail. However, there's a wide shoulder on the right that one can use to hike up. I explored that area & hiked the incline with a heavily weighted pack as training prior to climbing Mt. Rainier in 2016. There are views of Lake Apopka & the Orlando skyline in the far distance. The road is also popular with cyclists.
