One of my favorites.

Gate was locked on the Bass Rd entry and there was no parking there. Find another entry point. Nice family trail and allows pets. Good amount of shade.

Very nice for mountain bikes, but small. The other side of the Trail is closed and lots of kids just hanging out up to no good. Not recommended to go alone. Venture at your own risk. Be nice in groups.

Quite fairly well maintained trails with wooden walkways. more of a nice walk than hike.

Love this trails! Always see a bunch of animals and mostly in the shade! I like running this trail or just to enjoy nature. I do sometimes walk to the "resting" place with tables and do my outdoor workout! Love it !!

This was a fun little hike that I knocked out first thing in the morning. There were lizards everywhere, and it was a squirrel paradise! This would be a nice place for locals to talk a walk in the woods. I'm not sure that I would recommend going too far out of one's way to hike here.

It was a very fun trail to walk on. Though it took you out to some random street. But it is a very fun trail to walk with friends.

Enter behind the school. only accessible m-f before 0830 and after 3pm due to school next to it. 5.4 miles if you go out and start right all the way to end and back. Out and back style single track. At the end of the initial wood bridge you can go left. We did not do that portion. Mild trail to right then opens to power line fields. Lots of wildlife and water very nice ride. Great for kids too.

Very pretty little hiking trail with scenic forest views and a bit of history. Love the boardwalk that runs for about half of the trail as well. Great for dogs and kids.

This area is know as the Shingle Creek Regional Park and is actually split into 4 areas, Steffee Homestead, Steffee Landing, Babb Landing and St. Clair. Babb Landing offers the longest hike at 1.12 miles for the point-to-point trail. There is also a small .5 mile loop that you can do. Babb landing offers picnicking, a playground, wide open areas for outdoor sports and historic buildings. The Steffee Homestead offers a loop trail that is just over .25 miles and a point-to-point trail that is .7 miles. The Homestead offers much of the same that Babb does, but there are no playgrounds or open areas here. A newly completed boardwalk takes you across shingle creek to the Steffee Landing area, but it is currently undergoing renovations. When complete they will offer canoe rentals. The trail itself, for both areas, is accessible to all but a little uneven. Wetter areas have boardwalks allowing for easy travel. Some areas of the Steffee trail do become muddy or flooded. The Babb trails are mostly out in the open, sunscreen and plenty of water is advised. The Steffee side is all under trees and well shaded. St Clair is much further down the creek and offers an exercise trail, playground picnic area and even a gopher tortoise preserve. You can also visit the nearby welcome center. They have a small museum and can help you with any and all information concerning the park. You can call them at (407) 396- 8644.

Went to test equipment out before our long hike coming up. Our first impression was it is nice. Excellent parking, and they have a recycle toilet there. Several historical sights as well. Lots of photo ops. We walked the whole trail which is about .70 long. Several places to sit and view nature. Overall was a short hike. Recommend bug spray for the horse flies. Good hike for children.

This was a nice little trail with boardwalks and somewhat paved trails. Well shaded and a pleasant walk. We'll be keeping this one on our favorites list.
