HikingGreat!

It was nice, all under canopy for our first hike here. There are three trails for hiking, biking and equestrian, and some are only for this specific mode of travel. Some spots were confusing causing us to walk the wrong trail or end up off trail, but overall enjoyable.

Bike trail was nice and shady. Thought is was pretty challenging for a beginner, with all the twists and turns. Roots where everywhere! Overall a good single-track trail with a good mix of downhill and uphill. Not a lot of mud considering the amount of rain the day before.

It was difficult to navigate to find anything scenic and you mostly hace to go up a real rocky road to get to the main area.

My wife and I hiked 6 miles on the “west” trail that parallels the trail described here. Along the trail we encountered two sets of peccaries and lots of bird life. After 3 miles we turned around and hiked back along the same trail since this west trail is not clearly seen on the AllTrails map. Brink plenty of water if you plan to walk the trail in summer months.

Trail was fun, lots of bends and small elevations up and down. Unfortunately had to stop and turn around due to a storm coming. Trail is well maintained and cool with all of the coverage. We saw 3 deer, some squirrels, and a gopher tortoise. Highly recommended!

1at Time on this trail with a friend .it was really great lots of roots that will challenge you even as an easy trail I found it a little bit difficult, but fun. My only complaint is we could never find where the trail went East and headed down along the Creek so we ended up retracing our steps. marking good be better

Would have given this 3.5 if possible. Good hike and very quiet but there are a lot of crisscrossing trails out here that can be confusing. Use the app or you could easily get turned around and have no idea where you are. The trails aren’t always clearly marked. Overall though it’s a good place to hike and I saw very few people. Some of the trails are for mountain biking and some are equestrian so you may have to share in some spots. All of it is shaded and in December it was dry and cool with no bugs.

Great trail for the area. Tons of switchbacks and some tiny tiny elevation gain. I enjoy seeing trunks from trees come out of the ground which makes it very interesting and engaging. Very cool mid way view on the edge with wood made fence, made a snack there and headed out. Went on Sunday in the middle of December at 2pm. Weather was a cool 70 and barely any bugs or anything else! Saw some deer as well. I enjoyed this, probably my favorite trail around here.

Nice trails, decent markings. Be ready to move off the trail for the frequent mountain bikes. Also watch out for the loose sugar sand on the way to and from the parking area.
