White Blaze Trail is a 3.8 mile lightly trafficked loop trail located near Silver Springs, Florida that offers the chance to see wildlife. The trail is good for all skill levels and offers a number of activity options. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
February 9, 2021Do not take this trail it is under construction, poorly marked and has wild hogs. The dog and I did about 7 miles retracing steps running the last 1-2 through mud and ditches
January 6, 2021Eh- it’s more of a sand road than a “trail”. It was nice for a wintertime morning run but I would not enjoy it if it was warmer. The second half is not well marked or maintained

First to ReviewYou can really get away from it all near Ocala. These web of trails in Silver Springs Forest offer hiking and biking, plus plenty of wildlife. I see deer commonly and a boar once so use caution.
