This is definetly my go to trip!! It is truly the best paddle in Florida because you can kayak and stand up paddle board the route. This " No Motor Zone" nature preserve is a safe protected way to see what the great outdoors is all about and a skinny water fisherman's paradise found! Great for first time paddlers and enthusiasts alike. You can pack a lunch and take a detour or two and make a good half day of it.
One of my favorite places to kayak. I highly recommend it!
This is an awesome trail. We went out into the Gulf by the Sunshine Skyway and it was totally worth it because three dolphins swam right next to us!! The facilities are very well maintained- the bathrooms are clean and you can wash your kayaks after you're done. Lots of birds and wildlife and the best part is you can get off your kayak and go up the watch tower. Excellent and amazing views!
