Some somewhat shady areas around US-19 but overall fairly safe and wonderful views. Worth continuing on past the end of the trail to end up in downtown Safety Harbor. Very clean and well maintained.

This is an excellent walking trail providing much diversity. Enjoy the changing environments where you will see a variety of birds. Observe the skills of Disc Golf and have a conversation with a player to fully understand the nuances of the game
The trail about 3 hours in total to complete, in and out. Take some snacks and water and sit in one is the parks which you will pass through. I suggest to sit by the pond near the end of the trail where some people may be fishing and there are birds to observe.
The trail weaves between urban and suburban and one readily appreciates how quickly you can leave the city traffic behind in a short distance.

Start at a ballpark, go thru disc golf parks, have lunch in downtown Safety Harbor. Head out to Philippe park. Check out the museum just off the trail in Safety Harbor. Trail was designed with fun in mind.

Always loved this trail. Not alot of people were out today. Has some hills (little ones). Mostly people biking. Had a great run. Started by the threshers baseball stadium and ended up in Safety Harbor 6.5 miles later.
