Truly beautiful spot with absolutely gorgeous water and falls. There are 3 trail options past the concrete paths. They all start on the same trail and branch off. The white trail leads out to an easy but beautiful walk.

HikingFeeGreat!

This is one of the best hikes I’ve done! However, all trails really should update their information. There are a series of trails, many of them loop trails (not out and back). After you go through the gardens, you have a choice of yellow, blue, or white. The blue trail meanders by the water briefly (it’s beautiful!) Then it does seem to just taper off. The yellow trail is well marked, and is a loop. I think the white trail is a loop too, but maybe just goes around a little longer. I recommend following the yellow trail, with a short jaunt off on the blue trail to see the river. You can look at my recording or photo to see the path...it was in total about 2.6 miles starting from the garden. These trails are really beautiful, very quiet and peaceful. About 1/3 of the trail is in sun (on sand), so I recommend going when it’s a little cooler. The signs get a little confusing as you end the trail, so if you have a poor sense of direction (like me), have your all trails map out.

The trail is very buggy. it's a mix of dirt and sand. It does not exactly follow the river, so if you're hoping to walk along with nice views of the river you kind of lose that pretty quickly. That said, there's a beautiful swimming hole right when you enter the park. the park opens at 8 a.m. and there is a $2 fee to get in.

Great trail! The AllTrails map only shows the main beginning of the trail, and not the yellow, blue, and white offshoots. We took the longest (white) Trail, and it was beautiful and secluded. There are some minimally shaded areas that might get hot in the summer. A large portion is sandy, also. There’s a $2/person park fee to get into the park that leads to the trails. The waterfall is a nice touch in Fl. :)

Came on a cloudy day. Trail was well marked. Took our dog and he seemed to enjoy it. Only drawback was we had to walk through the park to get to the trails.

Not very long in distance but very tranquil setting with a few trails leading to the waters edge downstream from the headsprings. Enjoyed it very much.

waterfalls and gardens were very nice as were the azaleas. I hiked the yellow loop around an old phosphate pit. Good shade on most of the walk. Dry path a little wet on the short blue marked spur to the river.
