The beginning of the trail on the Prairie Loop is nice with mixed hammocks, but the entire Ozmore to Kilpatrick Prairie to Kilpatrick Homestead trails are essentially fire breaks, and, therefore, they are simply wide open prairie roads. There are a few hammocks along the way, but, unfortunately, there are no foot traffic trails through them, only the fire breaks. Do on cool dry days of winter or early mornings.
