Beautiful scenery!! But has a dirty/ polluted water smell all over the trails...If you can stomach the stench then you'll have tons of fun!!

Great trails, some difficult and some easy. The down side are the runners who share the bike trails, but other than that....it is very of fun.

Nice little state park with a lot more to do than just hiking around the trails. I loved the quite serenade of the birds with no one around when I know close by it gets very crowded, very quickly. Walked a short distance and was away from the concrete jungle, great change of pace scenery close to the beach.

By the S. Florida inland-outdoor standards, this park is wonderful and scenic experience. However, if you are in the least bit experienced with actual hiking and/or mountain biking (e.g., if you're not from S. Florida) then don't expect much. There is not not a single MTB trail that I would rate as "advanced" in the whole of the park, and the hiking requires little more than walking. Don't get me wrong, the nature in this park is wonderful to look at because the vegetation and wildlife are many (and classically S. Floridian). But the trails... Well I guess anything is hard if you ride/run hard enough or long enough...

Loved this trail not a lot of technical challenge but a nice downhill towards the end.The best part is the scenery!

This park is one of the bigger ones in South Florida and has a ton of great trails. I think the trails are better for biking, especially lay because of all the rocks and roots (unless you're looking down constantly, you probably will trip and fall at some point). It's challenging at times, but that is a good thing for the most part.

Trails are being worked and improved. The park has a variety of trails ranging from novice to expert. Trails have a lot of roots and rocks which can be challenging at times. Overall a great park.

Good times! The mountain bike trails at Oleta River State park are seemingly endless and a lot of fun to ride. I've been there a few times now and I'm still not sure if I have hit them all because there are so many options. My favorite is the run near the back of the park that includes Gilligan's Island, Killer Ferns, and The Gates of Delirium, which gets progressively more challenging. It's a long run and these trails, like a few others in the park, are linked so you pretty much have to ride them all to get back to the connecting access road. Some of the trails have lots or rocks and roots so they can be a bit bumby, which is all part of the mountain biking experience. If you're looking for a smooth ride get a rode bike and stick to the pavement!

Too many mosquitoes so need bug spray to enjoy the place. A good trail from beginners to experts.

Oleta has a lot of great trails to ride on for all experience levels. Do expect to run into several roots and rocks along the way. I would highly suggest having front suspension on your bike if you are going to hit any of the intermediate to advanced trails.
Many of the beginner trails are smooth and fairly quick. A great warm up for advanced riders and a great trail ride for those looking for a trail riding experience.

The park trails are set up well. You can go into one trail and right into another and work your way around the park. The longest trail I've been on is Gilligan island toward the very back of the park. Locals say it's the longest and most technical. Definitely fun if you are up for the challenge.

The parking fee is $4 for a single person and I believe +$2 per person in the car. It's a great price and a great place to ride. Highly recommend it. If anyone wants to meet up on a weekend I will gladly tag along!
