This is a good one for AllTrails to add... Neat and clean, first along rivers and then looping back through the woods. Some wet spots, but our socks stayed dry.
Very well kept, wide passageway. Beautiful in the morning when the fog is rolling off the water.
This is a lovely trail, but I don't know why it's listed as out and back. If you cross the playground and picnic areas in the campground, you connect with the trail along the river that takes you right back to the boat launch in a nice loop. The river portion is gorgeous!
Smooth and easy trail. Insects are out pretty heavy in early September. Good views of the river.
Walked the Scenic Road to the Reflection Pond and then down to the boat ramp, following the river back to the parking lot. Total walk was about 2.5 miles. Breaks along the river with small beaches you can stand on to look out at the marsh. Super easy trail. Low big problem because it was cool and sunny.
Loved the campground, very well kept and comfortable. There is a little hiking around the campground, along the river and through the pine forest. Very easy, short and flat hike. Best for families or to stretch your legs after kayaking/canoeing/boating the river system all day. Plenty of wildlife viewing opportunities, deer, snakes, white squirrels, etc.
