A lot of sandy trails with no shade, a nice walk but wouldn’t go in the heat of the day

Nice trail but lots of sand to sink in. Terrible trail markers and loads of lost people, including us. Got this app and it saved us.

HikingNo shade

Overall fun trail, but definitely save it for a cool or overcast day as there is no shade on 75% of the trail. There are lots of crisscrossing trails so the gps map on this site came in handy. Also a lot of sugar sand so some ankle support helps.

NO BICYCLES. This is a beautiful trail. The trail consists of loose sand like on a beach to soft semi-compact dirt. The beauty is breathtaking, I recommend brining a day pack and a significant other and having a pic-nic. There is shade coverage everywhere.

Not for me. Miserable on a hot day, no shade and a lot of sand and bugs. Wide open and flat terrain. Pretty boring. Also poorly marked. very confusing. The gps on this app really helped!

Trail is well maintained and wide open. No flooding or bugs yesterday as it hadn’t rained for a while and went midday when it is hottest. Mostly sunny but there are shaded areas. Sugar sand on some parts maybe 40% of the trail but manageable.

Some areas of the trail are flooded, it was last time and also this time, lots bugs in few places but overall there isn't many this area has alot of sugar sand, and almost no shade few places to relax and rest by 2 lakes the path of this hike shows few places that were very overgrown it is almost impossible to even see where the path is, so I skipped them this is a beautiful trail

Great, well marked trail. There is a mix of sun and shaded areas, but more sun than shade. A few muddy areas due to recent rains, but manageable. Lots of mosquitos, so make sure to have bug spray. Saw some wildlife (tortoise, rabbit, eagle and deer), which was a treat.

The trail is part of the Fish and Wildlife Conservation commission so they don’t allow dogs. So just be careful of that.
