If not extremely wet this would have been a great trail. Lots of fauna and a nice trail. Bring bug spray

Nice leisurely hike. half of trail is Shady and overgrown with suspicious vegetation protruding in trail. Suggest wearing protective pants, socks, shoes. No flops or shorts. the second half is wide open packed gravel. spotted no wildlife. nice views from overlooks. quiet.

The back half of the trail is underwater. We could not make it to the fork to even attempt a path to the observation tower.

This trail has not been maintained at all. We still made it through, but had to climb over down trees. Getting to the tower was cool

My daughter (11) and I came and had a great time. We loved walking through the woods and especially the knocked down huge tree at the very beginning was really neat to take some pictures. I liked how it was actually trails and not just roads to walk down like other trails in the area.

Directions are wrong. The entrance is right off Oslo. I could not make it thru the trail due to higher water. Pretty muddy. It was nice what I saw and will try again when things have dried up a bit

Relatively well maintained trails - about 2 miles worth. At around 2 miles it was pretty overgrown, so I made that my turnaround point - tromping though knee-high grass that close to swamps didn't strike me as wise. The look out tower was great - I needed to bring a book on local wildlife as the variety of birds was overwhelming! It's been pretty rainy the last 2 weeks yet the trails were spongey at worst. Minimal mosquitoes/bugs too, which surprised me. Great trail that allows dogs!!

First to Review

I'm going to start off with all the positives. Great birding trail, plenty of animal life, very shaded, hardly any mosquitos, beautiful plant life, and great overlook that gives a beautiful 360° view of the habitat. Now the negatives, many overgrown trails that were flooded out. Don't go during rainy season or after a rainstorm or trails will be flooded. It appeared that the trails were not be up kept.
