I ran a 5 mile section in the downtown St Petersburg/coffee pot bayou area. Nice concrete path. The area can get a little crowded. Serious runners will want to go in the earlier hours.

A large paved trail with fantastic views of the Tampa Bay, great for a walk or a ride on your bicycle! Great sites on the trail: downtown st. Pete; 2 large Banyan trees; several parks; human sundial; Vinoy Hotel; Snell Isle neighborhood plus many more. A great write-up on this trail can be found here http://www.gutterpupadventures.com/the-north-bay-trail-along-the-st-petersburg-shoreline/
