walk, easy going, well-marked, seems longer than pictured map. Very nice, enjoyable, just below New England Eatery! Reward yourself twice. Takes you to Indian River edge with focus on gator signs. Have walked all except for field area in northwest area that has viewing platforms with most likely sightings (of wildlife) in this somewhat open/marshy area. I'm going back for the third time with senior friend(s).11th ex

I thought this trail was very nice. Had arrows to show you were to talk. My calculation on my walk total was 2.7 miles depending on your steps I can see how people may get a little more. There are beware signs but I didn't see any alligators. A few birds a lot of butterflies and some ducks. They had information about the trees and plants. The river was beautiful on one side and flood on another. It has s few small board walks. You should bring a small backpack if you aren't use to hiking or walking long. Just got water, tissue, phone, spray or bandage.

It was great
Nice trails, some mud, lots of benches to rest, gators and birds. At times one is hiking right next to the Indian river!
