Great 2 mile trail. Lots of trees. My 5yr old loved it!

Nice trail that is well marked. Saw a couple alligators along the way resting near the water banks. They stayed put and didn’t seem to care who was passing by.

My wife and I loved this trail, a nice escape near the beach in Melbourne. 75% shade and a good 25% in full sun. Good balance on a hot day. Found gators, birds, an otter and multiple non-poisonous snakes. Trail markers can be confusing at times, so the app was a helpful tool.

We had a great Christmas Eve Day hike. We Were hoping to see more wildlife, but only saw a hawk flying with a rat he caught for lunch. It was a site to see! The rat looked just as big as the hawk. Signs state alligators near by, but we did not see any. It was an easy hike.

Nice hike through some old wooded areas. Many tree arches due to fallen trees. Some with lots of age. Well maintained trail, but bring bug spray. The mosquitos are killer! Saw lots of evidence of snakes. Did see two black snakes and enoles everywhere! Spiders everywhere with cobwebs. Aside from mosquitos, very nice place for a hike.

This is probably the best hike in the southern EEL program to take visitors on. It can be wet and buggy, but we saw so many birds, several big fishes, a tortoise and a snake, not to mention vibrant, green resurrection fern on the trail.

Great hike. Nicely maintained. Bug spray is mandatory on this hike. It takes you through very swampy areas. Mosquitos will find you. We parked across the street at the ocean. And the trail takes you all the river, through a swamp, and past a lake. Good stuff.

Very cool place, lots of different terrain and small elevation changes make it fun to hike.

Great trail. Interesting plants. We saw alligators and turtles. No insects and only one spider. North section was the most interesting. Easy trail through some dense foliage but several spots to stop and sit on a bench
