I was the only one on the trail that morning, no markings to keep you on the trail so that kept it interesting.. crossed a small dam and got to a water crossing but didn’t intend to get wet on my run so I turned back and ended up at 4.5mi - there are ATV trails that run parallel with the running path, being in south Florida I was generally surprised at the small elevation change I experienced here, I’ll be back with the intention of finishing the trail!

Had a good day with the dogs. Enjoyed all the different trails you can take.

No trail markers but it is a fun trail. Walk on sand ATV trails that go into just a path. Had to cross water taking off shoes - only ankle deep in January. Mostly shaded. Saw wild pigs and a snake. Wasn’t really hard but annoying at times tripping on vines and wondering which way to go. Had to back track a little. Still fun.

This was a great hike. Trail not well marked by the canal spillway & the golf course. They do not want you on the course.
