A boardwalk trail for the most part with a variety of plant life and a high concentration of epiphytes. This is one of our favorites in the Everglades just for photography and plant ID. Buggy normally with yellow flies occasionally.

The small trail has an entrance that looks like resort. It’s short and fun

I really love the Everglades but 30 $ for the entrance is too much.

Beautiful short trail thru a mixed forest with mature mahogany trees. Went midday in September, so the wildlife was sparse, they have the sense to hide from the sun.

A short loop trail about half a mile long that takes you through an Everglades hammock community with old growth mahogany trees.

First to Review

Taking this really nice brand-new board walk through the mid tree lining and out into the open African Savannah feeling environment was quite stunning. Nothing between you and some good American neighborly alligators below but an inch or so of boardwalk plus a couple feet of oxygen.
