WalkingFloodedGreat!

Lovely trail basically in my backyard. Love coming out here to relax and get away from people. It’s always very quiet and there’s lots of trails to walk, or ride horses.

This is the northwest section of the Loxahatchee Slough Natural Area. Four varied legs to this hike. Easy hiking overall. Soom areas were flooded but mostly dry. If you're used to hiking in Florida then this small spots of flooding are something you are used to. Easy to get to, safe area to park. These trails are occasionally shared with individuals on horseback and two of the four segments, along the canals, with bicyclists. Would definitely hike this segment again.

Long portion of this trail was hard packed gravel along side a canal. Kind of boring. 3/4 of the way in I came across a pond that I could not get around and had to turn back. Did see two families of pigs
