This is not a trail for hiking. It’s primarily used for cycling and driving through it’s pretty but nothing too special. However there is another trail at the HQ north of the main trail that is very short but beautiful

Beautiful. Ran on this hard packed road with my daughters following on beach cruisers. Lots of wildlife and peaceful. Encountered a few vehicles driving through, but all were friendly. I would recommend this to a family for a quick outing. There’s a nice boat ramp that we used to cool off and get our feet wet.
