A "Double Loop" trail that follows the Econ on both the North and South sides. During the Winter, the trail is definitely easy in terms of footing and pitch. Catch it on a cool, clear winter day and be rewarded with incredible views of mirror tree reflections off the water - a perfect photo backdrop for your group "we were here and loved it" shot. Gator sightings are pretty rare along this section of the river, but be prepared for plenty of water fowl. Hawks, ferrel hogs, armadillos and the occasional deer or river otter may cross your path - especially on the less traveled southern side. The northern side is good in any season. On the Southern side (which is terrain bike friendly), the gullies you walk through in the winter can become mudholes in the Spring or Fall, creeks during the rainy season and knee deep after a major storm.
