Calm, quite in morning and at night - this little slice of heaven is a special favorite. Can't begin to share all the avian wildlife viewed here. Surprisingly diverse human population as well. Love this place, hope we can care for oceans and aquatic life sufficiently to protect this and related for many generations to come.

Relaxing quiet morning walk.

Nice restrooms at the South end, together with shady picknic areas with access to the beach. There is ample parking. The reported trail is broken at the gulf side by resorts and condos that have built sea walls well into low tide. Hikers should be prepared to swim to get across.
