easy trail that is partially covered by trees. my 3-year-old was able to do this loop on a tricycle with a very little help. my entire family enjoyed walking this trail.

WalkingGreat!

This is nice little oasis in the middle of the city. You can't escape the noise of traffic but it's of no matter. A nice walk through the woods, along boardwalks at times and along the water. Saw an alligator, turtle, and of course birds. There's a playground, plenty of picnic tables and pavilions. Plenty of benches along the trails to rest and places to fish. There's also one of those little library boxes. I think it's a nice little park.

Quiet tranquil and serene. seems to go on forever. The boardwalk itself is a bit decrepit and can be kind of sketchy in places, But an absolutely delightful walk.

The trail is nice. It’s mostly boardwalk which is nice. For the entrance though google Lake Lotus and follow the directions to the park.

First time here. Very VERY easy. Started recording while I was already into my walk. I came out for wildlife photos. There was litter in various places in waters. Why are people so horrible?

I really like this trail. It’s short, but very nice. Well shaded and dry. Great option during the rainy season

The trail was nice. Very hot! There was sufficient shade though. It was disheartening to see all the garbage in the water and on the trail. I usually pick up the garbage but it was out of reach.

The entrance that AllTrails took me to was closed, but I navigated to the Lake Lotus Park and that was open, which includes most of the trail. Trail wasn't crowded and most of it was boardwalk. The views were really nice. Saw a Bard owl and several butterflies.

This park is the best kept secret in Altamonte Springs. I lived about a mile from the park & frequented numerous times during a 10-year period. The park is free, however parking is on the other side of Maitland Blvd. & there's a tram system, similar to a theme park, for transporting visitors. The park rangers are extremely friendly & helpful, however bike cycles are prohibited past the playground & main gathering area. It's common to see wildlife including exotic birds and alligators. The boardwalks are shaded & provide a taste of the Florida wilderness. There's also a gazebo located on the lake.

Nice trail (mostly boardwalk) with lots of shade. I felt secure being alone with my 2 toddlers. Saw many birds, butterflies, bees, fish, flowers, turtles, a snake and several alligators of various ages. They do allow fishing, but you must have a license. We did see some garbage/litter, which always upsets me and I’ll never understand, but it was overall very well maintained. Lots of educational opportunities and kept my little ones entertained. Has a playground with picnic tables, but we weren’t able to experience those to review them. We went during the week so there weren’t many people, but it didn’t look like there was a lot of parking if it gets busy.
