Did this hike and the sink hole trail together, I loved the area, the woods, lake and sink hole are beautiful. Looks like the Forest Service put a lot of time and money into building the trails and various boardwalks, but it’s disappointing how run down and overgrown everything has become. It doesn’t look like these trails get much use. We had to crawl around, over and under a lot of blow downs. These trails would be rated much higher if it wasn’t for the maintenance issues. But I still loved the hike and would go back.
