It's a bit dry and shrubby this time of year. Needs a bit if trail maintenance. There was a big tree down across the path.
Beautiful views of mangroves and boardwalks over the wettest spots. I’m 75 years young and I enjoyed it.
Really hard on ankles, the trail is wide but lots of rocks not our favorite.
Excellent long boardwalk through the mangroves. The dirt portions can be a little messy after a rain but overall a great little trail. There is fishing at the lagoon if you need it. Along the trail are a couple of picnic tables so bring a nice lunch.
Nice hike to the water. Super windy, great weather. VERY muddy! Definitely recommend waterproof boots or rain tall rain boots.
Perfect for family walks but can be very muddy in places. Saw lots of beautiful flowers, birds, and trees.
it was very relaxing. it was nice to see so much nature as in the birds and butterflies
Nice little walk. Couple muddy spots right now. Bug spray helped. Pretty nice views
We walked this trail at 9:30-11:00 so we got out to a late start. At the time there was plenty of shade 60/40. When we got to the loop vs bridge to lagoon we went right which begins the four mile loop, not the shorter loop that’s mapped out for this. We saw butterflies, a small gator, and plenty of land crabs. There’s about ten parking spots. Make sure to bring big spray as there are some areas with many mosquitoes. The paths are big once you get on the loop and there are some picnic tables in the beginning. We cut the four mile loop short as it was snack time for our two year old and we had left them in the truck.
great short or long trail you can break up in different sections.
