Road bikingGreat!

Great little paved trail that acts as a shortcut between flamingo campground and the visitors center. Small beaches all along the trail with views out into the ocean.

Mosquitoes are not a joke. Whoever made these bug sprays should put a disclaimer on their containers saying their products don’t work in the Everglades. The trail itself is nothing spectacular compared to other trails around either.

Walking

Nice and calm walk along the shore that served as a good place to cool down and reflect. The presence of a nearby construction site was unfortunate but the breeze coming in off the water felt good on a warm day.

Enjoyed the easy flat paved trail along the water’s edge. Saw lots of lizards and hermit crabs. We walked this in late Feb.

First to Review

Nice trail at the southern end of the Everglades with beautiful views of Florida Bay and the beginning of the Keys. Just be prepared for the mosquitoes for most months out of the year.
