Lush and green. Would be peaceful if there wasnt swarms of mosquitoes. Even after dosing ourselves with repellent. Saw one gator. Nice signage.

Anhinga is not shaded, so it was hot but worth it. Not a super long trail and totally worth the sweat. Cool fish and lilipads in the water.

This trail is very accslessibel, short, and mostly shaded. I saw people with strollers and small children. The path is a bit uneven but paved so very accessible.

This is a great paved path for anyone to view the variety of plant life found in a tropical hammock at Everglades National Park. It can be buggy to very buggy. If you are ever in South Florida you should have bug spray all the time!

Small trail from royal palms visitor center. It gives a thick forest feeling. Very quick and it’s fun. Saw a red cardinal while walking here

Look out for the poison ivy. It is sticking out into the path all along it. Shaded walk with no wildlife.

Good trail through thick foliage. I tacked on the hidden lake at the end which probably added a mile and a half. It’s not on here (as far as I saw) but it’s on the Royal Palm trail map you can get at the visitor center. The hike to the lake was nothing out of the ordinary but the lake was absolutely gorgeous. Great hikes either way but I preferred Anhinga more

Really nice trail to kill the time. I usually go here to find branches on the ground to carve. Really pretty in the right weather, bit of trees down from irma.

This trail is very easy to walk. I did not see much wildlife but there were a lot of different trees, pines and ferns. There are also a lot of trees along the trail that have fallen due to the hurricane, but the trail has been cleared to allow people to hike it.

A nice, short, informative and shaded loop trail that is easy to combine with the Anhinga Trail.
