Flatwoods Loop Trail is a 11 mile loop trail located near Tampa, Florida and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, road biking, and mountain biking and is accessible year-round.
Very nice paved trail. Water in thermal coolers with paper cones available along the trail. We rode our bikes while our dog trotted beside. It was a great workout for her and a pleasant ride for us.
I used to live right up the road from this trail. Agreed...it is called Flatwoods Park... nobody will know what you are talking about if you say you were on the Bruce B. Downs Trail.
This area is great for wildlife, photography, mountain biking, and cross country/trail running.
This trail is actually called "Flatwoods" not Bruce B Downs. That's the road it's on. No one local will know what you mean unless you say Flatwoods.
Great trail. Ample stops with water. Wide. Well maintained.
This is a wonderful trail for the area. Very well kept and marked. My favorite part about this trail is that is is located in the city, but completely tucked away from everything. No site of cars or even buildings from the trail. At about every other mile marker of the route there is a little hut with water. Very nice for any distance activity.
Easy afternoon. Lots of water stops. Well maintained. $2 to park
