An easy half mile with an interesting take on lakes, as the pink coloring defies laws of nature. I tried to looking it up & I still don’t know why it’s pink, but you should try to find that out! Fascinating though, and beautiful to look at.

A nice short walk around the pond. Wading birds typically hang out here and nest in late winter. The path is elevated, well mown grass making it easy to traverse in all seasons.

Went in late February at dusk. Saw spoonbills and a stork. Only place we really encountered mosquitos. Pretty walk.

Small trail around Eco Pond. If you like bird watching this is a great little trail to take at the southern tip of Florida.

Nice short trail around a pond at the very southern end of the Everglades. This is a good spot to see wildlife. Just be prepared for the mosquitoes for most months out of the year.
