Really enjoyed this trail. Hiked the 12 mile A-B Loop. I was concerned with all the rain a few days before but the trail was dry. If you are not familiar with the area and trails I would recommend downloading the gpx or using the app as there are various intersections to navigation with the A, B, C loops and bike trails. The bike trails are separate which is great.

Nice hike. The signs were a little hard to read after I lost cell reception, very faded. The signs all said B C loop. I never saw anything for an A B loop. Only saw one other hiker.

Great Trail. Super well marked
Some elevation which is rare in FL.
Partially shaded by lots of trees. Many Large Oak trees, some fallen. A few large, old sinkholes. About 5-10% recently burned. An extra bonus, an old Civil War cemetery 100 yds in front of car parking. Took 5.25 hrs at a good clip with some stopping. Will do this again.
