It was ok -deep sand in spots, but nice place to get out in nature. We did see a fairly large gator in the creek. Other than that not much wildlife.

Creek Bluffs Loop Trail is one of the best and most diverse trails in Central Florida. This trail has a wonderful mixture of scenery and unique ecosystems. I would say it's moderately difficult, due to multiple elevation changes and areas of sugar sand. Lovely diversity of wildlife, including deer, hogs, and a multitude of bird species. I highly recommend to anyone looking to experience genuine wild Florida.

HikingOff trail

There are hardly any signs telling you the. trail ways. There seemed to be hundreds of unmarked trails. It was a maze. I walked 10 miles and had tk get help because I couldn't find my way out. It was going to get dark. It was a beautiful park.

Nice trail relatively easy. Well marked . Saw a bald eagle on its nest! Just off trail right before 1st wooden foot bridge. The “ bluffs” were more just a little hill that overlooked the creek but very picturesque. Very enjoyable hike.!

Nice dirt parking area at end of semi-residential street. Trailhead begins at informational kiosk-maps available and also can be downloaded via their website. Starts out white sands/open sand hill and flatwoods then links to small sections of bayhead around Tiger Creek. Couple of small bridges, easy to follow blazes-thank you from one who is navigationally challenged-and wide open expanses of Florida flatwoods. Beautiful...HOT!...nice breezes...brief bayhead sections with surprisingly “high” vistas to view water and benches to sit and listen to the water. Saw a covey of quail, numerous towhees, abundant scrub lizards, butterflies, dragonflies and robber flies. Couple of deer and some turkey crossed in front of me and boy do I hope the raptor I took a photo of turns out to be a short tail hawk. Nice hike. Would be delightful for a trail run due to single track sections, elevation and intrigue. (Special Note: due to stormy weather, I started trail but had to turn back and sit out some thunder/lightning for a bit before starting out a second time-hence the “extra mileage”-and I lollygagged for photos quite a bit on this 108ish heat index day ) ***CHIGGERS-silly me did not spray her feet & 48 hrs later have discovered that would have been a very wise pre-hike detail-LOL***

Nice trail. Pretty along the creek but little shade elsewhere. Sandy conditions prevail. Lots of biting flies on this Memorial Day weekend. Bring bug spray! Enjoyed overall.

Good hike for beginners. This was our 3rd hike ever. Got good advice from another hiker to follow the pink marks on the trees. Very enjoyable.

Fabulous trail. My wife and I brought our four sons, seven, four, two, and six months old. Kids loved it. We also brought our dog, a golden doodle. She loved it and jumped in the creek and swam around for a while. If you live in the central Florida area, it would be a crying shame for you not to hike this trail at least once.

Great trail with an unexpected red river! I was the only one listed in the log book for the day so it appears to be a great option for a quieter hike.

A great shorter hike with a decent amount of tree coverage. The trail is nice and beaten but attention needs to be given to the trail markers to stay off of the fire roads and on the trail. Overall a great little hike!
