As mentioned by many it can be loud, but the lack of people makes up for it.

Beautiful flora! Live oaks covered in spanish moss, saw palmettos, slash pines, just gorgeous. Saw a Zebra Longwing Butterfly and some dragonflies. This paved path leads into sandy trails, if you choose to go further. Follow my instagram for more adventures @julie_journeys

Simple evening walk, with an easy paved path and a few places to venture off the trail and explore.

HikingFloodedGreat!

The Cicada trail is a comfortable sidewalk that weaves through covered and open areas. There are two other loops that are longer, maintained trails. Unfortunately, the North loop is flooded just beyond the halfway point, hence the mixed review. 2020 has been wet, plus Tropical Storm Eta was not long ago.

A beautiful patch of wilderness amidst Sprawling Florida suburban aggression. Would be a good little trail if not for the highways surrounding it. Noisy. Very short. Done in five minutes. Almost a waste of time. No signs to mark splits in path so you wind around wondering if you’ve missed something, but no you haven’t. Some beautiful trees. It is obvious the whole area was like this at one time but they bulldozed ancient trees for a business park, highways and a power station. Would have made more sense if surrounded by residential area so people can enjoy. Like most Florida trails Florida ruins the natural experience with concrete walkways—totally unnecessary. Been there, did it, will never return. Might be a good place to take toddlers if you want to begin to appreciate nature. They should take advantage of this unique place— very very small place - to educate baby walkers on the flora.

Great trail - scenic and flat. Had a little trouble finding the entrance to the parking lot . . . ended up parking at Costco and walking down.

Only did half the trail because we wanted to leave at sundown. It was sandy and a wide path at parts of it. We enjoyed it and even saw some bats and a rabbit !!

Went on a muggy hot day with lots of humidity. I think we were the only people on the trail today. Excellent vegetation and lots of forest critters. Very nice rain Forrest with lots of concrete poured paths. Sounds of the highway is a negative. It is a walk and less of a hike.

Excellent with clearly marked trails. Enter off of Clint Moore just west of the Boca Shrine Club. After you park you will have a short distance of paved trail; the rest is all natural trails. You can follow the red marked trail or the dotted line trails. They all connect. Didn’t see a soul on the entire 3 mile walk. No animal sightings today but lots of interesting animal trails. Watch out for low growing cacti.
