It looked like an old road they fenced off the trail leads to an old parking lot with no incline on a slightly improved road. Sink is well worth it tons of snapping turtles and the water is beautiful. Old cemetery on the far side we didn’t notice till we saw a sign. Overall, a nice little walk.

Short and easy trail! We had 5 kids with us and everyone made it! The sinkhole was cool but there was some trash! We saw some bugs, but mostly just trees!

We walked this trail a week ago and it was very nice. I'm a local, so I know this place very well. I'm happy that wakulla springs state park took it over and cleaned it up! I'm also very excited that it's open for swimming again!!

Nice easy walk with the kids (ages 3, 5, 7, and 9) who enjoyed watching for animal tracks and throwing leaves and acorns into the sink. It appears the large observation deck is gone or maybe I missed it in the shrubbery. The other staircases lead to great views of the sink. We found the trail and sink area clear of trash and debris which was great. Make sure to note when they close the gate as the park ranger was waiting for us when we returned to lock up the gate.
