This park is absolutely beautiful!! With cement and wooden deck trails the entire way! Very informational also:) There were signs describing all kinds of vegetation and wildlife along the way. The path borders a couple different small lakes, with plenty of outlooks and quiet benches... the lakes are full of friendly turtles too! Beautiful scenery!

The only reason it gets a four out of five rating is that the park covers several city blocks, and you will find yourself walking along the road on a side walk at times to get back on the paths.... often times for quarter mile stretches... this takes away from the natural feel, having to deal with traffic, and the sounds of city.

But overall a great park! Good for bikes and walking! Very kid friendly! There is a play ground at the beginning :)

The entire hike circles a lake that is only in view a couple of times. It is also a paved walkway throughout the hike, with parts of the hike being along side the road.

I really enjoy leisurely walks along this trail with my dogs because it is scenic and close to home. There are several lakes with docks and fishing opportunities, a few areas of stream viewing, lots of beautiful flora and fauna to take in and it's not usually very busy. There are also nice facilities at the parking area. (If you are a photography enthusiast there are plenty of photo ops.)

Ok trail. Few different options, up to 2 miles I'd say. Walk, run, or bike. Few bodies of water along the way.
