Fun Trail. But mostly level and straight. Nicely Paved can become somewhat monotonous though.

Easy trail, nice and flat. A little boring though.

This is Rails to Trails project. If you access the trail at Pioneer Trail Park and ride to the end about 6.8 miles, you can continue your ride if you like by following the hard packed sand shell road a short distance to CR771 and go right. CR771 becomes CR775 in about a 1/2 miles or so. You'll then come to the Boca Grande Causeway on you left. Take the Causeway onto Boca Grande. There is a $2.00 toll for bikes $5.00 for cars. The Causeway is narrow as it was not designed to include foot or bike traffic but the speed limit is kept very low for safety. The ride to the park at the end of Boca Grande from the entrance of the Causeway is about 10 miles with paved pathways all the way. Total trip from Pioneer Park to Boca Grande Lighthouse and back is about 32 miles.
