Cady Way Trail is a 6.4 mile heavily trafficked point-to-point trail located near Orlando, Florida that features beautiful wild flowers and is good for all skill levels. The trail is primarily used for walking, running, and road biking and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.
Paved all the way through, this trail is shaded for the most part and goes through some picturesque parts of Orlando. Parking is available throughout the trail. Accessibility: The trail surface is paved and typically at least eight feet wide. The estimated grade is gentle (all 3% or less) so this trail will likely be navigable for most wheelchairs/mobility equipment or strollers.
The bridge is fixed for those that want to come out. It was nice. It’s paved all the way and there’s parks if you wanna stop by as well. It was easy and there’s a lot of people that come out to bike, run, walk as well.
Paved trail. Have to cross a lot of busy streets. Some charming scenery some not so much.
Nice trail. Mostly shady with few intersections. However the bridge is out near the end so the trail cuts off about the 5 mile mark.
Paved all the way through, shaded for many parts. Parking available throughout the trail. Currently the Bridge at the Goldenrod end of the trail is out which will stop you shortly after the bridge. Still a wonderful bike trail through some picturesque parts of Orlando.
Great bike ride. All paved and well marked. Not too many busy intersections.
Completed the entire Cady Way Trail from the Orlando Magic Recreation Center & explored a little farther searching for the Cross Seminole Trail. GPS read a total of 14.4 miles out & back to Colonial Drive near the Executive Airport. This is a very busy suburban paved trail with ample numbers of joggers, strollers, cyclists, dog walkers & other pedestrians. There are several street crossings. Next time, I would perform a detour & check out Lake Baldwin. In 2015, much of this trail was included in the 2 half marathons for the Orlando Veterans.
Roller bladed for 8 miles, definitely a bit rocky in certain areas and quite a few road crossings in the beginning but over all a very nice trail that goes through some residential areas.
Great trail for road bikes as some parts are divided between cycling and walking.
Nice for biking. Spotted shady areas mostly sun. Paved trail. Start up at Lake Druid park which has nice beginner trail ramps.
Trail is great for road biking. Surface is well maintained and is well used. At a couple of the crossings the bushes grow right up to the road making it hard to see any traffic without coming to a stop. The biggest problem is the south end of the trail which is closed beyond Bennet Road. There is a fence blocking the trail even though it is complete past the apartment construction and all the way to the mall parking.lot As of 9/19 the trail has been this way for over a year. No idea when it will open.
Only did a small piece on lunch break. No shade where I walked but otherwise decent
