Easy walk. No need to hike the entire thing.

Great trail. Have to be aware of cyclists which will come by fairly quick. I always see wildlife.

WalkingGreat!

It is a very well maintained trail. 2.9 miles down, then you turn around and walk back. Decent flow of traffic, you have to be aware of your surroundings as many bikes share the trail. Occasional shade helps during the warmer weather days. In the many times I’ve walked I’ve seen many birds, butterflies, lizards, a snake, an otter, and more.

Walking

It’s a beautiful boardwalk/paved trail. We saw an otter and lots of nature. Unfortunately though there are way too many bikers going way too fast. My family had to jump out of the way or step off the path to accommodate them. We only made it half way and decided to turn back. Signs say to yield to pedestrians but most people didn’t.

First time on trail. Can't comment completely since I only did half. If you are first timer, drive all the way to the end of the parking/road and then you'll see the trail head. I mistakenly parked at the first parking i saw...walked half the trail length from my car just to get to the start! Nice boardwalk area. Not much wildlife today but a good easy out and back. Several other bikers and walkers too.
