The trail is primarily used for walking, running, nature trips, and bird watching and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

This is a busy paved trail. Saw a few hawks and other birds. Added on the Sandhill and Pond trail on the return to get to 4 miles. Go early as this is also a kayak put in area and parking fills up.
3.7 miles in this all paved trail was just perfect for a morning hike.
Such a wide variety of trails and directions to head in. The shaded scenery is one of my favorite aspects. Whether you are there midday, sunrise or sunset, you will be treated to some calming backdrops and a beautifully constructed trail and bridge area.
It was beautiful. I’m from south Florida so anything beats most all flat boring trails there. Perfectly shaded, paved walk ways with tons of off paths to take. But took my pup today with me so paved it was. Couple of gators, turtles swimming the river and a black racer! No complaints.
Great asphalt path. Smooth enough for skating even. Doesn't run right along the river. You get to see it at the start if you go down the canoe launch ramp by the parking lot, and at the very nice bridge midway. Keith with GwinsLodge Alaskan cabins rentals online. Kenai Peninsula.
This is a nicely paved and shaded trial through beautiful Florida river front preserved land. It is well traveled and has benches along the trail with markers describing Florida Flora and Fauna. I love this trail for long easy flat jogs. You can't go wrong with this trail.
Paved trail great for strollers and wheelchairs. Nice views of local vegetation, birds and other wildlife. The trail head offers several informational monuments about trees and plant life. There's a wonderful bridge with great views of the waterway near the middle of the trail. Great choice for an easy walk or bike ride.
